First of all you have to install OPML extension for firefox that Click here to download OPML extension.
After installing/restarting firefox, Export Live Bookmarks folder from Firefox in OPML file format and then Import the OPML file into Google Reader.

Hi. I have installed this tool in my firefox and is prertty good. I am saying this becuase firefox got stuck , of unknown reason and I lost all the settings/ addons even. I used this backup to restore it. Great stuff
